School Council

School council is an organisation within school which asks two representatives to bring ideas, suggestion and proposals from each form class to a ‘Year Group School Council’ meeting. These students meet with their Year Head on a regular basis to discuss topics of interest in the school or issues that occur in their regular school life. Two representatives from each year group then meet with the Vice-Principal in the ‘Whole School Council’ to share their gathered information or suggestions. Student council gives all students in the school an opportunity to have their pupil voice heard listened to and acted upon. Multiple initiatives and requests from the school council are introduced each year. Theses may include school trip choices, rewards and more.
